- Description
- MobiGen is a software for generating mobility trace. The user can design regular and irregular shaped buildings with doorways, inaccessible obstacles, pathways and hot spots (regions of interest) through a user friendly GUI. By providing a set of options, a wide range of scenarios can be created. MobiGen produces node movement trace file which is pluggable to network simulator ns2. The program is ported as a zip file which contains a Visual Basic .net solution. After unzipping the file it can be compiled from source code with Visual Basic 2005 or it can be run directly from the executable using the .net framework. MobiGen is a part of the research work “An Environment Aware Mobility Model for Wireless Ad Hoc Network”, accepted in Computer Networks. It follows the mobility model proposed in this paper.
